Maverick song man Neil Murray is not only a founding member of the pioneering Warumpi Band (thrusting contemporary indigenous music into mainstream Australia with hits like My Island Home and Blackfella Whitefella) but also a successful solo artist with a career spanning over four decades and a string of remarkable albums including his latest and tenth original solo album, The Telling (released in April 2023).

Neil is one of Australia’s most revered, diverse and influential songwriters with his work contributing substantially to Australia’s contemporary music heritage with artists such as Jimmy Little, Missy Higgins, Liz Stringer and Powderfinger recording his songs.
